Event Category:

Inspired by David Hockney while on assignment for Life Magazine, photographer Stephen Wilkes envisioned creating his now iconic photographic series, “Day to Night™” for the first time in Mexico on the set of Baz Luhrmann’s “Romeo & Juliet.” From Leo DiCaprio and Claire Danes to our Front Row series, it’s been a vividly landscaped career and Wilkes will discuss his craft and how technology and a camera has allowed him to capture the changing of time in a single photograph.

Many from this series include his favorite photographic subject, New York City. He will also sign the Taschen book inspired by his passion; “Stephen Wilkes: Day To Night.” This is a rare opportunity for all interested in art and photography to glean insights. Or just see some amazing photographs. Don’t miss this shot.
