Reception & Arrival

Hotel guests are invited to enter the property via the motor court on the Montauk Highway side of the Inn.

Check-in/Check-out 

Check-in for suites and cottages is 4:00pm. Standard check-out is 12:00pm daily.

RESORT FEE

Canoe Place Signature Amenities: The little touches that make your stay exceptional.

A Resort Fee of 5% of your total stay is charged to each room which provides amenities to help you unwind. Amenities include:

Courtesy Vehicles for Transportation (seasonal): Available by request and will travel within a 6-mile radius of the hotel on a pickup/drop-off basis. Reservations are on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Complimentary Valet Parking (seasonal):  Available from 7:00am until 11:00pm daily. Hotel guests will receive a text message from the valet and can request their vehicle on a first come first serve basis. Those visiting the property for dinner or spa treatments may also use valet services.

Fitness Classes (seasonal): Yoga and Pilates are offered in the Pavilion, please check in with the front desk for schedule and sign up. Our Fitness Center is on the lower level, outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment, and open 24 hours a day. Access for guests is complimentary.

Pets

1 dog up to 30 pounds are welcome in the Gabled Room, Garden-Level Room (Accessible), and 1-Bedroom Cottage. Pets may not be left alone in guestrooms and must be leashed (or held) in all common areas of the property. Pets are not allowed in the hotel’s restaurants, bars, fitness center, spa and pool area. We will provide dog beds, dog bowls, treats. A nightly, non-refundable rate of $75 will be assessed as a dog cleaning fee. A $500/night fee will be assessed if pets are brought to the Inn, not reserved in a pet-friendly room, AND/OR exceed the 30lb limit.

Internet

High-speed internet is available wirelessly across the property and is complimentary for all registered guests.

Rates & Deposit

Room rates are subject to applicable sales and local taxes. All reservations require a credit card deposit of 50% of the stay due at the time of booking. The remaining balance will be charged upon arrival.

Accessibility 

Accessible suites are available within our Inn via a conveniently located elevator, and one of our restored cottages is one-level and accessible without steps.

The Canoe Place team and all of its partners recognize the importance of protecting the privacy of individual-specific information (“Personal Information”) collected from and about our Site users (referred to as “you” or “your” in this Privacy Policy). This Privacy Policy describes what Personal Information we gather, how it is used and how you can correct, change and limit our use of it. We make every reasonable effort to provide you as much control over your Personal Information as possible to preserve your privacy, while still allowing us to utilize that Personal Information to provide you the most hospitable and personalized service possible. WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION DOES CANOE PLACE COLLECT?
We collect Personal Information from our Site in order to provide you the best support and service possible. The type of Personal Information we collect will depend upon what we will need in order to provide you with the particular service or stay you are interested in. In the case of prospective guests and prospective employees, the information requested on our registration form includes some or all of the following: name and address, age or date of birth, email address, occupation, employment information, telephone number, educational background and Social Security/national insurance number. Those interested in employment at Canoe Place, may be asked for the following additional Personal Information: credit checks, background checks and employment verification. Where required, we will obtain your consent before undertaking these checks. Once a candidate accepts a position, the candidate may be asked to complete further online details. This may include an invitation to self-identify ethnicity or race. This information is only collected to meet government reporting requirements and the provision of this information by candidates is voluntary.

USAGE TRACKING: USE OF IP ADDRESSES
An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer whenever you are surfing the Internet. Web servers, the main computers that serve up web pages, automatically identify your computer by its IP address. As permitted under applicable law, we collect IP addresses for the purposes of system administration, gathering and analyzing aggregated information, creating a better experience for users and auditing the use of our site. We do not normally link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable, which means that your session will be logged, but you will typically remain anonymous to us. We will seek to link your IP address when we feel it is necessary to protect this site and other users from criminal activity. Please see the section on Use of “Cookies.”

USE OF “COOKIES”
