GENERAL QUESTIONS

Hotel guests are invited to enter the property via the motor court on the Montauk Highway side of the Inn.

Standard check-in time is 4:00pm and standard check-out time is 12:00pm.

We’re pleased to offer early check-in or late check-out when possible.

Open 24 hours a day on days of operation.

Smoking is not permitted inside the hotel; however, it is allowed in designated outdoor areas of the property.

High-speed internet is available wirelessly across the property and is complimentary for all registered guests.

Yes, we can safely store your luggage during your stay.

Resort Fee
Canoe Place Signature Amenities: The little touches that make your stay exceptional.  A Resort Fee of 6% of your total stay is charged to each room which provides amenities to help you unwind. Amenities include:

  • Courtesy Vehicles for Transportation (seasonal): Available by request and will travel within a 6-mile radius of the hotel on a pickup/drop-off basis. Reservations are on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • Complimentary Valet Parking (seasonal)
  • Fitness Classes (seasonal): Yoga is offered complimentary on the Event Lawn, please check in with the front desk for the schedule. Our Fitness Center is on the lower level, outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment, and open 24 hours a day. Access for guests is complimentary.

Yes, every room, and suite at Canoe Place Inn includes its own private bathroom for your comfort and convenience. 

Cribs are available upon request. Rollaway beds can also be arranged for select room types, based on availability.

Accessible suites are available within our Inn via a conveniently located elevator, and one of our restored cottages is one-level and accessible without steps.

Yes, we’re happy to provide a milk-safe refrigerator or assist with breast milk storage during your stay.

Cancellation policy varies by season, please see your confirmation email for more details.

Room rates are subject to applicable sales and local taxes. All reservations require a credit card deposit of 50% of the stay due at the time of booking. The remaining balance will be charged upon arrival.

Yes, an early departure will incur a one-night penalty.

Yes, we offer a variety of beautiful spaces for every type of occasion — from weddings, holiday parties, and corporate retreats to photo shoots, engagements, brand activations, showers, and more.

Group rates are available. Our Events Team can connect you with our Group Sales department to assist with booking a room block for your event or gathering.

Outside catering is not permitted. All food and beverage services are provided exclusively by Canoe Place Inn to ensure the highest quality and experience for your event.

We have a fully equipped fitness center available exclusively for guests.

While we do not have a traditional business center, our team is happy to assist with printing, scanning, and other business needs upon request.

Yes, we have a heated, outdoor pool for guests to enjoy from May to October. Pool hours are typically from 8am to dusk, though hours may vary seasonally.

We’ve partnered with Sommet Beauty to provide a full-service spa experience, including massages, treatments, and wellness services. Check our Spa page for hours and to schedule your appointment.

PETS

One dog up to 45 pounds are welcome in select accommodations. Pets may not be left alone in guest rooms and must be leashed (or held) in all common areas of the property. Pets are not allowed in the hotel’s restaurants, bars, fitness center, spa, and pool area.

A nightly, non-refundable rate of $75 will be assessed as a dog cleaning fee. A $500/night fee will be assessed if pets are brought to the Inn, not reserved in a pet-friendly room, AND/OR exceed the 45lb limit. Yes! We offer pet-free rooms for guests with allergies. Just let us know when booking, and we’ll make sure your stay is comfortable and worry-free.

We don’t offer pet sitting or dog walking services on property, but our team is happy to recommend trusted local providers to help care for your furry friends.
