Beach Experience

Enjoy a day at the beach within a quick 7-minute drive from Canoe Place. Our team will prepare beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, and a Yeti Beach Cooler will be packed based on your preferences for an additional fee. Transportation to the Beach

In addition to the complete Beach Experience, the Canoe Place Courtesy Vehicle can also be arranged to pickup or drop-off to any of the beaches within a 6-mile radius of the hotel.

Complimentary Beach Access

If you wish to explore the surrounding beaches in your own vehicle, guests can enjoy Complimentary Beach Access with Canoe Place Parking Permit for the various beaches from Westhampton to Sag Harbor denoted with ** in our Beach Guide below.

Beach Picnic

Our Yeti Beach Coolers can be packed based on your preferences as part of the full Beach Experience or to accompany your beach day excursion for an additional fee (we kindly request 24 hour notice).

Beach Guide:

Hampton Bays

  • Ponquogue Beach**: With a newly renovated pavilion and boardwalk, Ponquogue is a local gem. Enjoy ocean waves, a concession stand, restrooms, showers, and picnic tables.
  • Meschutt Beach County Park: Meschutt is a stillwater beach located on Great Peconic Bay. A lively nighttime summer spot, they host a variety of events such as live music and dance nights, vintage car shows, as well as serving lunch and dinner at their beach hut and outdoor bar.
  • Tiana Beach**: A short drive on Dune Road from Ponquogue, Tiana is an ocean beach with lifeguards and restrooms.
  • Hot Dog Beach**: Down the road from Tiana, lifeguards, bathrooms, occasional food truck.
  • Shinnecock Inlet**: Although not a body of water for swimming, the Shinnecock Inlet offers a beautiful view of the water and a walkway of rocks along the shore. Swing to the left over the Ponquogue Bridge and enjoy watching boats sail through.

Southampton

  • Cooper’s Beach: Probably the most well-known beach in the Hamptons, Cooper’s Beach is a popular spot for visitors and locals alike. They offer a concession stand, bathrooms, outdoor showers, on-duty lifeguards, and chair and umbrella rentals.
  • Little Plains Beach: Quaint ocean beach in Southampton Village.
  • Flying Point Beach**: Located in the hamlet of Water Mill just outside of Southampton Village, Flying Point is a beautiful ocean beach with lifeguards and an occasional food/ice cream truck.

Bridgehampton

  • Mecox Beach**
  • W. Scott Cameron Beach

Sag Harbor

  • Foster Memorial Long Beach**: Bayside Beach with lifeguards on duty.
  • Havens Beach: Bay beach for swimming, boating, and scenery.
  • Windmill Beach: Small strip of beach along the Sag Harbor Windmill for sightseeing.

East Hampton/Sagaponack

  • Sagg Main Beach**: Ocean beach
  • East Hampton Main Beach: Lifeguard protected oceanside beach.
  • Egypt Beach: Undeveloped beach- no restrooms or lifeguards.
  • Two Mile Hollow Beach: Oceanfront beach with seasonal lifeguards.

Westhampton

  • Pikes Beach**: Dune Road beach.
  • Rogers Beach: Ocean beach with a gazebo, concession stand, and a bathhouse with showers and changing areas.
  • Cupsogue Beach County Park: Boardwalk, food shack, restrooms, and lifeguards.

Montauk

  • Ditch Plains Beach: Popular spot for swimming, surfing, or lounging.
  • Gin Beach: Bathrooms and a food truck during the summer months.
  • Sunset Beach: Smaller beach, walking distance from restaurants and shops.
  • South Edison Beach: Ocean beach with restrooms, quick walk to the town.
  • Kirk Park Beach: Ocean beach with lifeguards, restrooms, and shower facilities

Please note, State/County Beaches do not accept parking permits.
