Bar Reve Residency

Bar Rêve arrives at Canoe Place Inn for a limited-time residency from July 7 through July 12, bringing the bar’s distinctly Parisian perspective to the understated elegance of the Hamptons. The collaboration pairs Bar Rêve’s signature cocktail program with subtle seasonal influences inspired by the East End. Throughout the residency, guests can experience cocktails crafted nightly by the New York team inside The Study, Canoe Place’s intimate cocktail space. Hotel guests can also enjoy a curated selection of spritzes and cocktail-inspired ice creams served poolside throughout the week, offering a relaxed extension of the residency’s French aperitif culture.

About Bar Rêve

Bar Rêve, a dreamlike cocktail bar from hospitality veterans Alexander Buchholz and Victor Triebel, in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn, is inspired by the salons and soirées of Belle Époque Paris, inviting guests into a timeless world where conversation, laughter, and candlelight define the evening. Rêve, French for “dream”, is designed as an escape from the everyday, which combines classic cocktails, refined hospitality, and a setting that echoes the creative energy of Paris at the turn of the 20th century, a time defined by peace, optimism, style, and revelry. Bar Rêve’s list of cocktails are presented to guests in a bound book, available for purchase, and refreshed every 12-18 months. The inaugural volume of the menu harkens back to Impressionism, the Belle Epoque’s defining art movement, and includes original free verse poetry.
