Trio Querencia uniquely approaches classic Cuban and Brazilian music by blending in each member’s modern jazz stylings. Along with their original compositions, the group explores its distinct arrangements of Cuban son, timba, boleros, Brazilian baião, choro, samba, bossa nova, and Latin-influenced renditions of classic jazz repertoire. Guitarist/vocalist Tony Davis leads the group, featuring Raul Reyes on bass and Daniel Prim on drums/percussion.
